How to use Equipment and Space (Off-campus Users)
The Life Science Instrumentation Resource Center accepts requests for equipment use from individuals outside Tokyo University of Science.
A list of equipment owned by our center is available here. Please inquire individually regarding usage fees, conditions, and other details.
Please note that we may decline requests based on the nature and purpose of the analysis, as well as current usage conditions.
The usage procedure is as follows:
How to Use Our Service
1. Inquiries Regarding Use
Please inquire about the equipment you wish to use, usage fees, and usage conditions.
2. Acquisition of Identity
For self-funded use, obtaining status as a “contract researcher” or similar is generally required.

*A supervising professor will be assigned. Payment of research fees is required.
3. User Registration
We will send you the necessary documents. Please fill in the details regarding the equipment you wish to use, the time period, and other specifics, then return them to us.
Your registration will be complete once we contact you to confirm your registration.
4. Course Enrollment and Service Activation
Use will commence after completing training on operating procedures. You may be required to submit a report regarding equipment usage.
5. Payment of Usage Fees
We will issue an invoice to the designated payment contact. Please remit payment via bank transfer by the specified due date. We do not accept cash payments.
